Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at WWU works to promote equity through tax assistance and learning that is free to anyone who walks in our doors. Students and community members are always welcome.
Students
Whether its current students, or alums, we welcome all with open arms. Our goal is focused on not just preparing returns, but preparing students by teaching them about how their choices affect their tax liability.
Community Members
Helping community members is a vital part of our mission at VITA. We work to support members through preparing income tax returns and providing a space where individuals with low-income can receive quality tax help, without ever being solicited for payment.
